The difference between C_TFIN52_05 and C_TFIN52_64 is:

For C_TFIN52_05 is Associate level, which means if you are a new to SAP and just trained on SAP. So you do not know the real time implementaion. In this case you have to go for TFIN_52_05.

For TFIN52_64 is an Professional Level, which means if you are already working on SAP FI you can go for this. Because this certification questions contains mostly with rela time implementation/configuration.

if you are new to SAP just do the C_TFIN52_05.   the 64 denotes that it is ECC6 testing the enhancement pack 4... In my opinion just do the C_TFIN52_05 test

just to add to the thread for further clarification.  Technically both C_TFIN52_05 and C_TFIN52_64 are associate level exams.

C_TFIN52_64  tests specific concepts related to ecc6 enhancement pack 4.  C_TFIN52_05 is where you should start unless you are very familar with ECC6 ehp4 capabilities.

Professional level exams start with P such as P_FINACC_60 or P_FINACC_64
